Social media strategy for Brit+Co

As part of its ongoing effort to grow as a lifestyle brand, Brit+Co wanted to create an ownable hashtag. I kicked off #bcweekender with a photo challenge that invited the B+C audience to provide UGC. The hashtag became so Instafamous, in fact, that got its own wall of fame at Brit+Co’s annual Re:Make conference (15k in attendance), garnering 700 organic mentions in just two weeks.
#bcweekender resonated with the fun-loving, whimsical B+C audience.
